A question worth asking

This from Al Gore's tirade yesterday:

"How did we get from September 12th , 2001, when a leading French newspaper ran a giant headline with the words "We Are All Americans Now" and when we had the good will and empathy of all the world -- to the horror that we all felt in witnessing the pictures of torture in Abu Ghraib."

Evangelicals for Social Change

Did you hear "Morning Edition" today?

I have never heard my personal political feelings so accurately articulated as in William McKenzie's editorial. I can't find the transcript of it anywhere, but you can hear it here.

He nails the tension between theologically conservative / socially moderate Christians and George W. Bush.

On a related note, check out these guys.

Cornered Calvinist

I went to lunch today with a couple of other teachers, both recent Christian college grads, like me. One went to Bryan and the other to Liberty.

It was an interesting conversation, defending Covenant Theology.

I need to brush up on my defense of amillenialism, though. Suggestions?

Who's that?

We went to the graduation of Sarah-Ginny's cousin last weekend.

But her cousin didn't walk across the stage. Not the one graduating, anyway.

His twin brother shaved his goatee so that they looked identical, and walked in his stead.

It was hilarious.
